Maison Margiela MM6 x Salomon are Back with More Cross-Sectional Styles

After dressing up the ACS Pro and transforming the XT-4 into a mule, Maison Margiela’s hip subdivision is returning to the shoe that first sparked hype surrounding its partnership with Salomon.

Building on the initial Cross model that debuted in MM6’s Fall/ Winter ‘23 collection last year, the mid-top version arrives with a slight edge in ankle protection, although retaining the avant garde sole unit and colour blocked approach.

The shrouded silhouette’s commanding shape is enhanced by contrasting colourways of ‘slate blue/ graphite & rose‘ and ‘bitter chocolate, ice blue & moonstone grey’ that are topped off with tonal branding notes, an integrated waterproof gaiter and comfort-conscious slip-on cradle.

Elsewhere in the capsule, MM6 reinterprets Salomon’s would-be hiking companion into something more attuned to city life by slimming down the XT-5 backpack and adding its numerical insignia, in addition to the multitude of storage options.
