New Balance and Bodega Go Global with 547 Legacy Collaboration

New Balance and Boston-based retailer Bodega are growing its long-lived partnership with another collaborative endeavor, this time around debuting the 574 Legacy as their footwear of choice. The duo has chosen to take an alternative approach in the form of an international venture, taking a journey to Paris, France for the launch of the project.

The collaborative effort arrives with a personalized motto - “Internationally known, locally respected” - preaching how local communities are what makes something truly successful. The classic model is presented in two colorways, speaking to timeless design and the authenticity that has defined New Balance since its inception in 1906.

The Bodega x New Balance 574 Legacy is seen in royal blue and mustard yellow colorways, featuring fuzzy suede, perforated toe boxes and mesh collars. The tonal offerings are separated by hits of silver and grey that touch the "N" insignia at the medials, along with the upper eyelet trims and heel tabs. Furthermore, both pairs see contrasting liner details as each tone has been taken from the other. Lastly, both see rubber plaques debossed with a New Balance logo and finished with white midsoles and black rubber bottoms.

The Bodega x New Balance 574 Legacys with be released at the Bodega in Paris x New Balance Clubhouse pop-up on June 23 at 6pm Paris time. Both pairs will see a wider release via Bodega's web store on July 15.
