Nike x Sacai VaporWaffle "White/Sail" and "Black/Gum" Set to Launch Next Week

After months of speculation, two long-awaited colorways of the Nike x Sacai VapourWaffle are finally slated to launch next week.

January of 2020 marked its original debut as the collaboration was first introduced on the Sacai runway and made waves all around. The creation fuses two iconic Nike silhouettes, the Vaporfly and the 1983 Pegasus. Forged by the mind of Japanese designer Chitose Abe, the shoe has become an elemental part of the duo's ongoing partnership.

Following a slew of vibrant colorways, Nike and Sacai are gearing up to launch two new pairs presented in a simplistic palette that differs from previous versions.

Sporting a nylon, suede and leather construction, the upper and midsole feature all-white and all-black monochromatic hues while a brown gum outsole adds a dash of color to it all. The shoe's double overlays have become its trademark as dual co-branded tongues, laces, Nike swooshes and stacked soles (both taken from the silhouettes that make up its inspiration) are maintained and a waffle gum outsole finishes it off.

Both pairs of the Nike x Sacai VaporWaffle are set to release on March 10th via Nike and select retailers worldwide.
