For many, the early 2000s is regarded as the golden era of sneakerhead history. From Nike pumping out one classic colorway after another to collectors hunting the globe for the best kicks out there, several pairs from the time became instant icons, and the Nike Air Max 1 "Crepe Hemp" is one of them.

Originally released in 2004, the classic pair is set to make a return later this year in celebration of the silhouette's 35th anniversary. In terms of design, the re-release will keep true to the original featuring beige woven underlays, tan medial panels, brown mudguards and heel counters, and finished with vibrant mint profile Swooshes. These all sit atop a white midsole and a gum Crepe rubber outsole, bringing the shoe to a close. It can be expected that slight modifications will be made, including the use of materials and detailing.

The Air Max 1 "Crepe Hemp" will be making a comeback later this year for a retail price of $180, arriving at Nike and select retailers.
