Nike's Air Jordan 5 gets the Gore-Tex Treatment for FW22

Nike’s Air Jordan 5 is synonymous with street culture, and is favoured by many as a go-to winter silhouette thanks to its vulcanised build and all round durable aesthetic. One of the more beatable Jordan models, the 5 is getting an overdue overhaul now that winter is (nearly) upon us, as it gets decked out with full Gore-Tex uppers.

Arriving in a traditional black colourway, the AJ 5 draws inspiration from 2009’s reflective “Raging Bulls'' design, with its black base and flashes of red on the lace locks, logos and midsole. Just like Palace’s latest Engineered Garments collab, the shoe is guaranteed to keep you dry (af), as the uppers are crafted from Gore-Tex weaved nubuck material, with more winterised features in the reflective tongue and all-round padded construction. 

The Nike Air Jordan 5 “Gore-Tex” is slated to drop later this year.
