Noah ny x Barbour jacket collaboration winter 24

Sticking with the concept of applying exotic textures to timeless outerwear, Noah NYC is back to reimagine classic Barbour cuts, while celebrating the latter’s heritage and the weight it carries in American prep culture.

Although this is Barbour x Noah’s fifth synergistic outing, the duo have been on a hiatus since 2022 and with inclement weather setting in, the latest roundup of Noah-injected Barbour styles come at just the right time, riffing on fancy textiles and the various style applications afforded with a good old-fashioned Barbour Jacket.

Already a brand that puts materials and quality above all else, Noah is the perfect partner to carry the torch for iconic jacketing rooted in function and this time around, Noah has chosen a blend of exotic wools, alongside salt-washed cotton canvas, all rendered in a range of colourings that are garnished with tasteful branding notes.

A favourite for brands like Drake’s and Aimé Leon Dore, casentino wool has become a firm staple of the menswear scene, despite being around for some 700+ years. Originating from the Casentino Valley in Tuscany, the neppy wool textile is masterfully applied to three Noah x Barbour Bedale jackets, available in black, dark green and a standout ‘tangerine’ orange.

Best highlighted on the brightest of the three, the Bedale retains its traditional corduroy collar, two welt pockets and front flap pockets that hold stitched logo detailing.

Playing on Barbour’s favoured waxed fabric, Noah also reimagines the Bedale in three salt-washed cotton iterations that look as if they’ve already been passed down by at least one generation.

The slightly longer-cut Border Jacket is rendered in a bespoke Donegal tweed wool, produced exclusively for the project by Magee Mills of Ireland - a family-run company that have specialised in designing, weaving and tailoring luxurious fabrics since 1866.

The black base is dotted with rainbow brights and perfectly captures the sartorial appeal of Barbour jackets.

The latest collaboration from Barbour x Noah NY will be available starting Monday, November 4th in-store and online via Barbour.com and NoahNY.com.
