Noon Goons x Vans Vault Collection ft. Snakeskin, Velvet & More

California-based brand Noon Goons have revealed their Vans Vault collection, releasing soon. For their first ever footwear collection, the brand delved into the Vans archive to put their luxe spin on three classic styles.

Comprised of three iconic Vans styles, the Vault by Vans x Noon Goons collection takes the skate practicality of the shoes and elevates them with materials like velvet and textured leather for a fresh, super wearable finish.

Brand founder Kurt Narmore explains that when developing the collection, he and creative director Sam Jarou tried a variety of fun and irreverent fabrics to incorporate into the designs while keeping them true to the classic shoes they grew up wearing.

In the end, they decided on a sleek textured snakeskin-embossed leather for both a Sk8-Hi and Old Skool. The Sk8-Hi style comes in white with contrast details in the sole stripe and black foxing. The Old Skool flips this colourway with an all black upper with white foxing.

The classic slip-on changes it up with an upper of smooth blue velvet and a black sole for a super sleek look which would look amazing dressed up or for every day wear. Adding to the sense of fun is a leopard print insole referencing the brand's love of pattern, as seen in their recent SS21 collection.

Each pair features the Noon Goons branding embroidered in Old English font into the back of the heel.

The Vault by Vans x Noon Goons collection will be available on the official Noon Goons webstore as well as select Noon Goons and Vault by Vans retailers globally beginning Thursday 15th April, priced at $115.
