Off-White and Church's Launch Footwear Capsule Collection

After Virgil Abloh’s passing in late 2021, the designer left strict instructions to his team and they have followed them to a T. With a slew of honorary catwalk shows and collections, Abloh had prepared yet another offering fit to mesmerize his audience once again.

First spotted at the Fall/Winter 2022 Off-White runway show, the label has officially revealed its collaboration with English footwear label Church’s that pays tribute to its nearly 250-year-old artisan craftsmanship. 

Designed by Virgil Abloh, the capsule merges the values and traditions of both brands via its first genderless release. 

The duo has taken Church’s most classic silhouette, the Burwood, and introduced subtle upgrades set across a brushed black perforated calfskin upper. The oxford style dress shoe sees Off-White style lettering that reads “Special Events” printed across the medial. 

In addition, the shoe features a sturdy wooden heeled outsole tied together with printed shoelaces and a forest green leather zip tie.
