Official Release Date for the Latest Union x Jordan 1 High Collab

Amongst the Jordan brand’s army of collaborators, few stand out like Union. 

Considered as one of the founding figures of American streetwear retail, Union has a deep wealth of knowledge to draw on for their plentiful collaborations, which consistently result in sought after Swoosh-bound kicks that hit the spot every time. 

Besides Jordan 4’s, 2’s and Dunk Lows, the most popular fruit to be harvested from the Nike x Union tree is the initial collaborative Jordan 1 High, that even today fetches well over $1k USD on resale sites. 

For their next trick, Nike and Union are saying “the first time was so nice - I had  to do it twice,” as the two gear up to take on the Jordan 1 High yet again. 

The latest Union x Jordan release will commence as a double feature pack including the OG Jordan 1 High and the women’s exclusive Jordan 1 High Elevate, creating options for both genders and specifically couples who share a passion for sneakers, inspired by Union founder Chris Gibbs and his wife Beth Birkett.

The design shows white leather upper, treated to mimic vintage stylings, that are separated by a line of stitching clearly borrowed from the Nike Footscape, also representing Bephie’s Beauty Supply - a company owned by Beth Birkett, that is directly commended by a stitched stamp on the rear and the woven detailing that emulates a hair braid.

The white/ grey colourway is a proven gem in the Jordan catalogue and when paired with notes from the Footscape, it will only propel the already insane comfort of the Jordan 1.

Priced at $200 USD each, both versions of the Union x Jordan 1 High will drop later this month, on August 24th.
