Palace x Crocs’ Mellow Slide is the Ultimate Recovery Vehicle

Mule fever has been rife for some time now and Palace Skateboards were bitten by the bug long ago, first working with Crocs in 2021 to rework the OG Croc sandal, now switching things up to apply its unique ‘Pally Pal‘ aesthetic to the Mellow Clog.

Predominantly designed as recovery footwear, Crocs’ Mellow Clog was first introduced in late 2022, advertised as the perfect option for post-activity comfort, headed by the LiteRide™ foam footbeds that mould to the wearer’s feet, creating a unique sense of soothing stability that in this collaborative outing, is elevated by signature Palace flair.

Available in ‘Brown/Bone’ and ‘Celery’ colour schemes, the minimalistic construction has been applied with an abstract design that features wavy lines atop a marble pattern, cross-sectioned by a repeated Palace signature that cuts through the middle of the cosmic Crocs.

In addition to the comfort-first kicks, Palace is also re-upping on its staple “Basically A” range of tees and sweats. Core palettes of navy, black, white and grey come as standard, with seasonal options of beige and forest green filling out the range of low-key branded basics.

Sticking with the Spellout theme, another tee displays a pre-aged collegiate logo, where a short sleeved design takes a more contemporary stance. Finally, Palace is also dropping a duo of decks, designed in conjunction with brand affiliate Shawn Powers.

The Palace week 2 drop and Crocs Mellow Clog collaboration will first be available this Friday, August 11th from Palace’s website and stores in London, New York & LA.

A release at Palace Tokyo and Wechat arrives the following day on Saturday, August 12th and the final drop will take place on Crocs.com on August 15th.
