Palace Skateboards is teaming up with Engineered Garments for their first collaborative release in three years - presenting a thoughtful capsule reflecting both brands’ commitment to detail-driven design that’s still firmly rooted in everyday functionality.

Palace last enlisted the referential steeze of Engineered Garments for the Fall Winter ‘22 season, where perennial pieces from Daike Suzuki’s vast archives were updated with street-wise flair - coming to fruition over Gore-Tex parkas and heavy outergarms that still command hefty premiums on resale markets today.

Continuing the spirit of their initial meeting, Palace and Engineered Garments’ latest Summer ‘25 collection is bursting at the (reinforced) seams with subverted menswear classics, capturing both entities’ fascination with fabric, pattern and pockets… lots of pockets.

Putting a fresh spin on the concept of casual tailoring, Palace breathes new life into Engineered Garments’ Bedford Jacket by matching it up with the cult FA pant. Now, just like its French military-inspired ‘counterpant’, the intentionally-shabby Blazer boasts even more storage options and comes in a choice of plain navy or desert camo.

The same cotton ripstop material is also used on a Hooded Utility Vest and Tote Bag.

More matching sets include the Patchwork Madras Shorts and Shirt combination, alongside a repurposing of the ‘ultimate summer suiting fabric’ on Engineered Garments’ interpretation of the classic Palace tracksuit. The sporty, seersucker jacket and trouser two-piece features a modest amount of pockets, with articulated knees on the bottoms and tonal embroidered logos at the jacket’s rear.

Co-branded crewnecks aside, the rest of Palace & Engineered Garments’ latest capsule includes a tribute to the legendary New York Cubans baseball team, whose iconic badge appears across long and short-sleeved tees, plus exclusive headgear courtesy of industry-standard ballcap reproduction firm Ebbets Field.

For the final additions to the brand’s second drop of Summer ‘25, Palace is releasing the lookbook standout Soul knitted top, along with a new 5-panel hat paying homage to legendary Japanese car manufacturer Subaru.

Palace’s Summer ‘25 Week 2 release drops this Friday, May 16 via Palace online and in-store channels, including the brand’s concessions at Dover Street Market in London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
