Releasing this Week: Nike x Travis Scott Attack “Cactus Jack”

Just weeks after his milestone release with Audemars Piguet, it’s clear that Travis Scott cannot stay out of the collaboration spotlight for long - as the prolific Swoosh company man is not only one of two faces for Nike’s Mac-Attack campaign, but the rapper also has his own special collaborative take, set to drop in time for the holidays.

The Nike Mac-Attack is a throwback silhouette that released as a signature model for Tennis Player John McEnroe all the way back in 1984 and has remained a Nike vault dweller, before Travis was spotted wearing an OG reissue in 2021.

The campaign run for Nike’s latest venture has been ongoing since Summer of this year, with various teasers involving Travis and Mr. McEnroe, culminating in a series of publicity stunts in recent weeks that fabricated beef between the two, starting with a zoom call argument then ramping up to Travis Scott vandalising McEnroe’s hall of fame plaque, before the tennis legend returned the favour by doing the same to Travis’ Lamborghini.

Officially dubbed the Nike Attack “Cactus Jack” - the shoe follows the same grey/ black colour scheme as the OG reissue that dropped in June, switched up via inverted swooshes on the outer sides and Cactus Jack heel embroidery.

Priced at $120, the Nike x Travis Scott Attack “Cactus Jack” will be available Tuesday, December 19th on Nike SNKRS.
