Ronnie Fieg Teases Kith x Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Collaboration

After debuting Kith’s Winter ‘22 collection, Ronnie Feig, founder of the New York imprint, took to his Instagram story to share a series of behind the scenes shots from the collection’s campaign, and besides a whole host of cozy outerwear pieces, ribbed knits, beanies, and woollen clothing, it was a handful of previously unseen footwear collaborations that garnered attention, most notably, the duo of Salomon XT-6’s that featured in cool teal and milky brown tones. 

Of course, Kith is known for their endless works with Asics, which, to no-one’s surprise, also made an appearance on Ronnie Fieg’s personal story, however, a collaboration with Salomon was becoming increasingly inevitable as the French sportswear brand grows in hype and stature. 

From the shots, it appears that Ronnie Fieg is sprinkling a smidgen of Gore-Tex in with the XT- 6, in an effort to make the ultimate functional shoe, even more essential for winter.

A pair of special edition Timberland Boots were also spotted, which again, are yet to become public knowledge, but will likely drop before the year’s end, alongside Kith’s take on the Salomon XT-6.
