Sky High Farms Enlists Nike x Kaws for Dover Street Market NYC’s 10th Anniversary

Global peddler of fine clobber Dover Street Market will soon be celebrating 10 years of business in its NYC outpost and in light of the festivities, the Rei Kawakubo founded retailer is hosting Nike, Kaws and Sky High Farms for a capsule centred around the Air Force 1.

Nike and artist Brian Donnelly - better known as Kaws, are two names familiar to most modern hypebeasts whereas Sky High Farms is the ‘new kid on the block’. 

Based in New York, Sky High Farms’ mission is to provide NYC residents with fresh, locally sourced food that adheres to regenerative and humane farming practices. Since their inception in 2011, Sky High Farms has donated over 140,000 lbs of produce to food banks and other charitable organisations around the Big Apple.

Notable collaborations from the brand include seperate works with Balenciaga and Comme des Garçons in 2022.

Proceeding with its altruistic ethos, Sky High Farms announced that proceeds from the upcoming project with Nike and Kaws will help towards supporting the collective’s efforts in the Hudson Valley Region of NYC.

The collaboration will entail the starring Air Force 1 in two colourways, plus more Kaws design work on Nike-produced apparel.

Kaws related projects always go down a treat with collectors and this collaboration will likely be no different, especially considering the reported limited production run. Expect a similar reception to the infamous Kaws x Nike Air Jordan 4 come drop-day on December 16th.

A 10-piece collection of tri-branded apparel will be releasing alongside the shoes. Produced by Nike, the capsule consists of tees, one hoodie, jackets, trousers and a beanie - all featuring Kaws-remixed Swooshes and Sky High Farms artwork.

The clothing will be available on skyhighfarmuniverse.com, Dover Street Market New York and the DSMNY e-shop on December 16th.

The Nike x Kaws x Sky High Farms Air Force 1 will only be available in-store at DSMNY.
