Palace x Maharishi spring 25 collaboration

Bonding over their shared passion for applying eastern-inspired imagery to derivative streetwear staples, two giants of the London’s ground-level culture are teaming up in the first ever Palace x Maharishi collaboration.

Founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman, Maharishi is a stalwart leader of the “pacifistic military” aesthetic, where designs and patterns once reserved purely for the armed forces are recontextualised to incorporate sustainable materials and border-breaking design.

Maharishi’s fascination with camouflage in a civilian setting has long been the driving force behind the brand and piggybacking off their own love for a bit of disruptive pattern material, or DPM, Palace presents a utilitarian capsule that’s underscored by purpose-built detailing and some of Maharishi’s signature embroidery.

Holding branding and cleanliness in equal esteem as patrons of London’s great streetwear liturgy, Palace and Maharishi bump logos across a rudimentary lineup of co-signed goods, including both long & short-sleeve tees, plus sweats bearing chenille appliqué decoration and stealthily updated Tri-Ferg Hoodies that feature toggles instead of drawstrings and a camo-hijacked logo spread across the back.

A welcome influx of accessories sees Palace and Maharishi cover reversible bucket hats, cuff-less beanies and balaclavas, plus a camo side bag to store multi-tools, lighters and torches engraved with Palace x Maharishi motifs.

Maharishi’s iconic Sno Pant appears in a zip-off makeup, again favouring toggles over drawstrings and sporting characteristic embroidery at the lower right leg. Matching track jackets double down on the eastern influence by implementing asymmetrical zips, where Maharishi’s intricate stitch-work is carried over to denim shorts and jeans.

Clearly influenced by Maharishi’s signature “bonsai” camo series, Palace features the central print on soft-shell zip hoodies and a puffer jacket with an integrated face mask and Maharishi’s warped “M” logo worked into the torso baffles.

In what is potentially Palace’s “accessory opus”, both firms’ passion for a bit of herb comes to fruition on the Maha Bong that’s constructed in the image of a grand jade dragon.

The debut Palace x Maharishi collaboration lands this Friday at 11:00 am GMT via Palace online and physical locations.
