Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 Collaboration Announced

After Nike recently confirmed its upcoming collaboration with Social Status on the Air Max Penny 1, a second project has been revealed that highlights Penny Hardaway’s second model. 

The sneaker comes dressed in colors that pay homage to North Carolina, the state where Social Status was born. 

The collaborative offering touches on the 1996 Air Penny 2 as two pairs see its uppers dipped in similar palettes of University Blue and Pure White while one dons a light cream base and the other features contrasting black tones. 

Reflective 3M piping runs around both pairs while a co-branded logo is seen at the sides and tongue. Finally, a metal hangtag of the Air Penny 2 silhouette hangs from the laces. 

No release date or pricing information has been announced just yet but stay tuned for more details coming soon.
