Adidas Preview 420-Themed South Park Campus 80 “Towelie” Sneaker

While adidas may have previously shied away from celebrating the unofficial "420" stoner holiday, the brand have two upcoming offerings you can score this April.

Appropriately for the nature of the annual "holiday", adidas have teamed with a beloved stoner icon for the South Park x adidas Campus 80 “Towelie”.

The pair features a terry cloth upper in Towelie's Chalk Purple shade with all white detailing on the sole, heel and brand's famous three stripes.

That is until Towelie's eyes - seen on the tongue of the shoe - are exposed to UV light and they turn a familiar pinkish red.

The shoe also features some fun hidden details including hidden stash pockets and a couple of Towelie's most memorable quotes: “Don’t Forget To Bring a Towel!” and “I Have No Idea What’s Going On”. The shoe also comes with keychains of Towelie in both his high and sober states.

In addition to Towelie is another cheeky offering in the form of the ZX "420". The fuzzy green take on the ZX 1000 style features a textured suede upper and mesh panels in a herbal Halo Green and Wild Pine complemented by purple edging, referencing the various purple strains on the market.

The official release date for the “Towelie” is yet to be confirmed but fans should keep an eye out for a release around Tuesday 20th April. The ZX 420 is available now via Adidas and other select retailers.
