Stone Island Officially Reveal Latest New Balance 574 Collaboration

Stone Island has now officially unveiled its latest project with New Balance, delivering two custom commissions of the 574 Legacy.

The latest double-feature pack tweaks the initial design formula in favour of smoother suede uppers, nylon fabric to replace the former felt tongue portion and lower levels of plush on the interior towel lining.

Building on the theme of understated, drab tones, the upcoming release sees the 574 legacy receive both light and dark green paint jobs, with each pair utilising tonal ripstop underlays that compliment the same shades present on Stone Island’s compass badge.

Both colourways of the New Balance x Stone Island 574 Legacy will be available via Stone Island’s physical stores and website on Wednesday, June 12th. A global release follows on June 14th.

Stone Island has teased the next release to come from its partnership with New Balance.

Stone Island and New Balance have been on a hot streak ever since they renewed vows in 2021, delivering four collaborative silhouettes spanning eight sell-out colourways that seamlessly blend New Balance’s footwear prowess with the textile proficiency Stone Island prides itself on.

Returning to the first lifestyle model to come from the duo’s run that recommenced in 2021, Stone Island has teased a second iteration of the New Balance 574 Legacy.

Sticking with the same mixed media approach that earned the initial grey colourway its coveted status, the upcoming release instead opts for green suede uppers with tonal ripstop panels and Stoney’s compass badge on the tongue.
