Stüssy Holiday ‘23 Second Instalment Highlights

Shortly after releasing its recent collaboration with Birkenstock, Stüssy is already back with a new roundup of effortlessly cool winter pieces to keep timelines busy and bank accounts empty over the Holiday season.

A focus on outerwear sees Stüssy approach various corners of the menswear spectrum, nailing winter techwear with an updated selection of nylon down parkas, alongside pieces that will find favour with the vintage sportswear crowd in the woollen “Stussy Sport” varsity jackets.

For those who enjoy a more sartorial existence, a duo of mohair trench coats arrive in full black and olive plaid variations.

Formalwear continues on the pink and sand corduroy suits that use Stüssy’s relaxed beach pants as bases for single and double breasted blazers that epitomise the slouchy, California-cool aesthetic the brand has cultivated in recent collections.

The only graphic to appear in this latest roster is the “Venus” design, that overlays classic Stüssy words of wisdom with a transparent image of a Venus sculpture. The design appears on garment dyed tees and zip hoodies.

The popular Nyco over trousers return, in addition to a trio of shaggy cardigans and restocks of the seasonally appropriate sherpa panelled fleece.

Sticking with fleecewear, a category that has shone across Stüssy’s recent deliveries, the brand applies a diamond checkerboard pattern to purple, green and tan iterations that can all be reversed to show a solid black shell.

Knit options are covered with the engineered panel sweater and fuzzy lattice crewnecks.

Elsewhere, the mixed print alpaca v-neck takes the title of “craziest knit”, with its almost rug-like presentation that fuses tartan with a blurry paisley into a singularly harmonious design.

Finally, Stüssy takes advantage of the colder months to work up a tidy leather selection that includes a reversible shearling bomber, SS link leather gloves and a classic stock logo cap elevated by the luxe textile.
