Supreme Give Clarks Originals Wallabee A Twisted Makeover for Winter

After kicking off their Fall Winter 2021 season with a photo tee, New York Yankees collab and more, Supreme return with the third drop of the season featuring a collab with classic footwear brand Clarks Originals.

Originally launched in the 1960s, the Clarks Wallabee style has taken on an unexpected significance in pop culture and the hip hop world specifically. The shoe was even name-checked by Method Man in the 2000 song Gravel Pit, proclaiming Wu-Tang Clan "the best thing since stocks in Clark Wallabees".

After becoming a staple of the Brit Pop music scene in the 90s, the shoe has since been seen on figures from Breaking Bad's Walter White to LeBron James, Kanye West and Drake who are all frequently spotted in the Wallabee.

The collection gives the original Wallabee a chic makeover with a woven upper in premium suede, lined in durable leather with a crepe sole.

The shoe releases in a bright green, peachy pink, neutral cream or black colourway.

The third drop from the Supreme Fall Winter 2021 season including the Clarks Originals collection will launch online, in Supreme stores and Dover Street Market locations from Thursday 9th September, Saturday 11th September for Japan.
