Rate it or hate it, the 2017 collaboration between Supreme and Louis Vuitton was truly A Moment. Five years on from the original release, rumours are that we could be getting a sequel.

Rumours are swirling that a second collection between Louis Vuitton and Supreme could be afoot, with a potential rollout slated for as early as the Fall Winter season later this year.

The initial team up between the hallowed French luxury brand and the New York cultural force - engineered by then Men's Artistic Director for Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones - caused an absolute frenzy among fashion fans.

The feverish success of the collection arguably triggered a wave of high-low partnerships in the years since with pairings including Dior x Stussy, Gucci x The North Face, sacai x Nike, Prada x Adidas and many more.

Virgil Abloh himself forged memorable partnerships between Louis Vuitton, Nike and the NBA during his own time at the brand, left as part of his own enduring legacy.

While a degree of collab fatigue may have begun to set in for consumers with each new announcement, unwieldy queues formed outside Burberry and Supreme stores this past Spring in anticipation of the release of the co-branded apparel collection between the two brands, showing that interest in a well-executed collaboration remains.
