Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 & Air Bakin Leaks Surface

Supreme and Nike have built their own singular identity outside of their respective mainstream personalities and when the two join forces, we can only expect one thing - an off-kilter sneaker collab. 

‘Weird‘ doesn’t always mean ‘bad‘ and Supreme x Nike silhouettes don’t sit long before they’re on foot - or up for resale world-over. The newest collaborative effort from collective mind of Supreme and Nike works on the Air Bakin - a basketball model that debuted back in 1997 and has been out of circulation for some time since. 

For the collaboration, Supreme is working on two colourways - one white and one iridescent, with a bare-bones approach to branding, setting the air Bakin apart from previous Supreme x Nike collabs.

The most wearable of the offerings shows a white grain leather, given an even deeper texture through the lateral divets, with tonal jewel swooshes on the outsole and ankle, all highlighted by the bright yellow lace-work. 

The second version features a chromatic upper that blends from purple to green, finished with red swooshes and laces.

Besides the Bakin, the seasonally reoccurring release of the box logo branded Nike Air Force 1’s is rumoured to be making a return after leaks surfaced of a deep brown iteration with the iconic Supreme tag on the ankle.

Expect an announcement for the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin to drop this week, with more details surrounding the brown Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 to come at a later date.
