Swarovski Dazzles on the Nike Air Max Plus

Air Max lovers rejoice, as Nike is releasing more bedazzled sportswear silhouettes in collaboration with Swarovski.

Swarovski crystal-adorned Nikes are some of the most limited and expensive models the Swoosh willingly releases on a semi-large scale and after tackling the Air Max 97 and Air Force 1, the next Nike model to receive a Swarovski makeover will be the Air Max Plus.

Nike is not only turning up the luxury levels on a sparkly rendition of the Air Max Plus’ iconic “Sunset” colourway, but has gone a step further by introducing the “Moonlight” design that inputs clear crystals where the TN’s sidewall stripes usually reside, extended to border the Nike swoosh that shines like a full moon when set against the black suede base.

Colloquially known as the “Tiger”, “Sunset” or “Pimento” colourway, the orange gradient upper that’s synonymous with the mainline Nike Air Max Plus is iconic in its own right.

Nike reimagines the fan-favourite palette into a calculated explosion of vibrant Swarovski crystals, carefully set alongside black suede mudguards and a bright red swoosh.

Both versions feature the usual branding placements at the tongue and heel, alongside airbags coloured to match the respective upper crystals. Each pair also comes with a small handful of spare crystals in a commemorative pouch

Available in women’s sizing, both pairs of the Nike x Swarovski Air Max Plus will drop in limited quantities via Nike SNKRS on December 5th.

The black “Moonlight” pair will also release at Foot Locker with a retail price of $450 USD, while the orange “Pimento” iteration is exclusive to SNKRS and priced at $550 USD.
