South Korea-based retailer Kasina was welcomed into the Nike family in 2020, launching its Dunk Low pack inspired by the busy Seoul transit system. Catching the eyes of sneakerheads far and wide, a recent teaser shared by KB Lee or @fakesickness on Instagram proves that the shop's second project with the Swoosh is already in the works.

Taking the Air Max 1 for a spin, deep tones outfit the silhouette accompanied by a luxurious range of materials. Burgandy tumbled leather underlays decorate the toe boxes alongside orange suede mudguards that don a miniature floral Swoosh. Ocean blue pony hair panels wrap the medials and lacing system, connecting to a leather backpiece and crisp profile Nike logos.

Tons of special touches are seen all around, including tongue tags in Korean and wooden lace locks. A striking embroidered hangtag finishes the design adorned with a multi-colored duck that likely takes inspiration from the Mandarin Duck. Often translated as wood cravings, they are typically used in Korean wedding ceremonies to symbolize love and fidelity.
