Building on their catalogue of easy-to-wear everyday basics and thoughtful collaborations, Korean streetwear brand thisisneverthat have worked with Hawaiian sandal makers Island Slipper on a collaborative shoe, releasing this Friday 10th July.
Not your standard sandal, the Island Slipper company have been producing high quality shoes by hand on Oahu, Hawaii since 1946. The packaging bears the phrase "good slippers take you good places" and this fits with the aim of the Island Slipper company which is to make the most comfortable and durable outdoor slippers.
The collaborative pair with thisisneverthat takes the design in a hard-wearing, outdoor direction. The cow leather and suede upper comes primarily in navy blue, with a co-branded dark grey suede insole for maximum comfort.
The rubber sole is constructed with practical grip patterns, making them a versatile shoe for beyond the beach.
The thisisneverthat x Island Slipper shoe will be available in-store from Friday 10th July 11am KST, online from Friday 10th July 10am KST.
