Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan “Jumpman Jack” Sells Out in Seconds

For months now, Travis Scott’s fated signature Jordan sneaker has been doing the rounds courtesy of various industry leakers, not to mention the vast amount of not-so-subtle teasers from the man himself.

The shoe has been public for so long that it’s easy to forget that it hasn’t actually released and in a surprising turn of events, Travis Scott debuted a limited run of his signature model in a shock drop following his performance at the Grammy awards show earlier this week.

It’s no surprise that the shoe sold out in seconds and while many will lament missing out on the coveted collaboration, the only silver lining is that we finally have access to images of the final product and confusion regarding the shoe’s official title is cleared up.

What will likely be the first Jumpman Jack iteration in a long line of upcoming releases follows a similar colour scheme to Travis’ equally elusive Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha”.

The shoe is marketed as a multipurpose lifestyle companion that can also be lent to sporting activities such as hiking, bungee jumping and boxing - if we’re to take Travis’ Nike advert at its word…

Sail grain leather appears on the upper sections, complemented by an earthy brown canvas on the quarter, toebox and collar. The mixing of textiles is rooted in Travis Scott’s love for Nike SB - exemplified a touch further by the inclusion of a gum outsole and mid-foot strap. Branding hits come in the form of Travis’ signature backwards swoosh, Cactus Jack smiley at the heel and translucent “Jack” lettering printed on the outsole.

Expect the Travis Scott x Nike Jordan Jumpman Jack to receive a wider release in the coming months with a retail price of $200 USD.
