Tyler, the Creator Opens Second Golf Wang Store in NYC

Tyler, the Creator’s Golf Wang is expanding its bricks and mortar portfolio with a brand new store in New York City, and to commemorate the birth of only the second official GOLF outlet on the planet, the team are enlisting famed designer Jeff Hamilton to whip up a celebratory jacket, in the artist’s ubiquitous bold style.

The store, which is set to open on November 12th will be situated on 35 Howard Street, Soho, just a stone's throw away from the bootleg mania of Canal Street and opposite Rick Owens, the location is fitting for the next chapter of GOLF, who are often looked upon as the middle child of streetwear hierarchy.

You might remember Jeff Hamilton from this season’s most eye-watering Supreme drop, in which the Parisian designer painted the classic box logo on a $10k dollar bomber, setting the record for one of the most expensive Supreme jackets ever released. Now turning his talents to Golf Wang, the garment customiser-extraordinaire is producing a vegan leather jacket that ties Golf Wang to its new, second home in Jeff’s traditional, American-inspired style.

It appears the jacket will only be available in-store and will likely cost more than your average road leather. A commemorative tee is also being released, denoting the store’s location with a graphic featuring some classic New York-isms.
